A few years ago I had the pleasure of doing on an image for composer Joel Hobbs, for a recording he did, featuring pieces he wrote for Woodwind Quintet. 🐦🌿

This piece was painted for ‘The Lark Ascending in the Spring Sky’.

It’s the first part of a piece called ‘Lark and Nightingale’, which is about the light and the dark, the yin and the yang. ☯️
